Personal Care Services offer assistance to clients, who have experienced a loss in their ability to perform the activities of daily living ADLs. (ADLs include bathing, grooming dressing, transferring, using the toilet, eating, and ambulation/walking,). Such assistance may enable them to remain in a safe, clean and healthy home environment. Home Care Assistants, who deliver Personal Care are responsible for observing, recording and reporting to their supervisor, or other appropriate person, any noticeable change in their client’s condition and/or home environment.
Personal Care services do not require the supervision of a registered nurse or a Physician’s order. Brainz’s Home Care Assistants, who perform Personal Care services, are trained for each task performed and are supervised by a Registered Nurse. Personal Care services may be provided on an hourly basis or on as-needed basis.
